A drawn out time signature, folded in rolling folds. The shadows speak to where the folds lie. The initial image frame is a graphite rubbing on Mylar of the backsides of the printing frames used for silkscreen printing at Ateliere Circulaire, a community printing studio of which I’m a member. The Mylar sheet was then scanned and ten commercial duplicate copies made. These copies were then folded in a long continuous sequence along with the original, at Galerie R3, university of Trois Rivières, Québec, 2025, part of the group exhibition De formes et d'ondes..

Now travelling to three new exhibition spaces. Entrepôt, Lachine, Montréal (2026); Maison de la culture côte de neige 2027; maison de la culture Dorval 2027.

The Dunce, a short super 8 film, made in 1992 for an exhibition at the Galerie Bourget, Concordia University. Reading performed by Lou, a school teacher, caméra work by myself. Refilmed with a janky somewhat broken projector, 2024. Performance and film made to accompany the solo photo exibition Hats, also in Diazo architectural blueprint poster & book work , presented at Maison de la culture Frontenac, 1992.

Something had to give. Experimental (photo? cinema? journalism? critique?) book work

Published in À Flot magazine: texte, image, mouvement . Nov 2024 . For the launch the editors proposed an XL unbound version for a live voice over narration expanded cinema happening, that we did as a stand up with two assistants.

A sunflower, from the end of summer. Finance city office workers in late November. Seen on exit that late November afternoon. My cousin had iust died. I’d gone to help my aunt, and on the way back took a detour. Stayed with H. and F. who I had only just met. Something happened and F said she was a Mossad agent, atter getting run down by a Russian truck in Brussels, in hospital with brain damage, and other events occurred, too long to talk about here. Sat through 2 showings of Tacitàs Dean's film Antigone & read the online reviews & Tacitàs notes on chemistry & piety & power & geometry. Something had to give. Hello sunflower online & offline.
